JCCSG Event #6, Update #2

Dear Member,

Here we are with updated details regarding our Sixth "JCCSG Education Symposium and Support Event". That we have scheduled for the first time an inaugural "Ladies Only" education program, for patients, wives, parents and caregivers of people suffering from Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis with reference to current topics within managing it, Fertility, Shidduchim, and many more…

This event will take place Tuesday, פרשת תולדות, November 18, 2014
at the Pointe Plaza Hotel, 2 Franklin Ave, Brooklyn NY 11249 (In Williamsburg).
Starting at 7:30 Sharp!

As in previous events, we will have educational presentations. For adults our program includes:
  • Take Control: Managing IBD Decisions:
  1. Current treatments and surgical approaches in IBD
  2. Risks and benefits of these treatment approaches
  3. Steps to take when re-evaluating the treatment plan if/after current therapy fails
  4. How to advocate for optimal IBD care
